Doing It All, From Large To Small

Brickell City Centre, a 1.05 billion project located in the center of the Brickell financial district is the single largest project currently underway in downtown Miami.  Launched on behalf of SWIRE properties, COMPUTER IT SOLUTIONS has been awarded the responsibility of managing the security and control of all project data.  Working in collaboration with Americaribe & John Moriarty & Associates, through the combined utilization of Data Center and on-site servers, a scalable program was utilized, one able to meet all demands of every operational stage from a few dozen to hundreds of users.  Our wide range of expertize resolved special needs from customizing collaboration software to handling performance challenges of hardware and network infrastructure.   Add to it the implementation of other technologies such as internal hyper-v virtualized mail servers and specialized equipment customized to distribute wireless service through the developmental stages of three city blocks, every challenge, every IT need has been met and exceeded.

We also have years of experience installing data drops for offices. Our most recent project was THE FORUM, 1665 Palm Beach Lakes Blvd., West Palm Beach where we installed a total of 789 drops on various floors.  Work performed was through the General Contractor Jim Klecker (see his website jimklecker.com for contact information).

With 20 workstations in two locations, and a server we can’t work without, our company’s computer needs can be complicated and time sensitive. Luckily for us, we’ve had CompITs to help. Dan and his team are flexible, savvy, intuitive, and are always willing to work with us. Their expertise rescued us during the worst emergency possible, a hard disc crash. When other IT companies would have charged a lot more for the same services, CompITs was budget conscious and still are. Dan, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on your recent efforts and service in getting my computer system back up and running. Having owned my on construction, development and consulting company for over thirty-five years and always recognizing the need to have the required tools to compete, I understand the importance of having “talented support” available when needed. Having access to qualified people and managing costs are all part of that which contributes to a “positive bottom line”. There are times when the size, volume and / or fabric of a company do not justify a full-time IT staff person.  Around two years ago we contacted Comptis to work in a IT project. Dan and his team worked around the clock to accomplish that mission. Along the way, he make the necessary recommendation  to put our IT infrastructure up to date. As a Microsoft Outlook is a core component of our operation, Comptis installed, configured and managed two servers with Microsoft Server 2003 and Exchange Server, wired the entire headquarter with Cat 6 cables, installed Routers, Bridges, Switches, Firewalls and set up the network to be able to work with an IP telephone system. In addition they took the control of our overseas office is South America.
